Most "rose water" on shelves is water with a rose fragrance oil added, sometimes with alcohol or preservatives to extend shelf life.

This is pure steam-distilled rose hydrosol — the by-product of distilling rose petals for their essential oil — with nothing else added, not even water.

How it's made

• Rose petals are steam-distilled, the same process used to extract rose essential oil
• The hydrosol collected during this distillation is the toner itself — nothing is diluted or reconstituted afterward
• No preservatives, added water, or fragrance oil go into the bottle
• Bottled in small batches and meant to be used within its stated shelf life, since nothing is added to extend it

What to expect

• A light hydrating, toning effect noticeable immediately after use
• Any calming or balancing effect builds with regular, twice-daily use over a few weeks

How to use

• Mist or pat onto clean skin, morning and night
• Use before serum or moisturiser, or through the day as a refresh
• Keep refrigerated in warm weather to extend freshness
